Literally just trying to figure out why a guy called Robert Bates started a private company in 2024 and is pretending it’s a think tank - and publishing reports with bum numbers!

Literally just got no idea who this guy is

‘Centre for Migration Control’ is supposedly a UK-based ‘Think Tank’ publishing reports and research into the ‘devastating impact’ of migration in the UK. Except it’s not! It’s a private company called Athelney Campaigns LTD, it was set up in July 2024 by a 29 year old former Brexiteer called Robert Bates. It publishes misleading statistics quoting Met Police, and its ‘donate’ page is a paypal.

Robert isn’t a think tank - he’s just a Reform party campaigner with a website.

Say no to weird grifts designed to exploit fear and divide us - support each other instead. That’s the pitch, nothing else!
